It wasn’t perfect either. Very very interesting, I would so-dare call it a “textbook movie.” Lots of content being released non-stop throughout the feature in dialogue, mostly; I did notice, however, it was a bit passive for what one would expect of a film by Spielberg. The development of the 13th Ammendment kept your interest, but aside from that, filmmakers did not expand or elaborate on Lincoln himself enough, in my humble opinion. That said, this motion picture has beautiful photography, memorable shots, impressive top-notch acting, interesting cast, and what got to me the most was Spielberg’s masterful ability to convey a raw-loving relationship between Lincoln and his youngest son so vividly in film, which is something that is very hard to do. The best example of what I’m talking about is the 1979 remake of </span>The Champ<span>, Jon Voight’s on-screen connection with a young Ricky Schroder. Took me back.
